Upstairs in a room with a real fire in winter and roof terrace in summer. Bring your instruments, bring your voices or just bring your ears for informal folk music and song session around a few tables in the pub. The emphasis is on being informal and for people to feel free to take part either joining in or starting off a tune of their own. If you just want to listen thatís fine too. Folk and traditional music from all over and of any genera is welcome.

Informal session which gets around 15 people attending most months, a few locals drop in to listen to a tune or two. We take it in turns to start a song or tune but there is no pressure on anyone.

The pub is recently redecorated and serves a great pint!

Bicton Session Night
Enjoy an evening of lively, Foot-tapping music when local musicians get together for an open acoustic session featuring accordions, violins, guitars, banjos, mandolins, bodhrans etc. Anyone can come and join in, lead a tune or just enjoy listening to the amazing sound created by the performers. The session usually includes lots of jigs, reels, polkas, airs and shanties, but anything can happen!
